This regulation establishes the procedure for the evacuation of all academic buildings at Winona State University (WSU) in the event of a fire alarm or other designated emergency as well as to establish the responsibility for evacuation of buildings and alerting the fire department and/or other appropriate emergency agencies.

This regulation details the steps to be taken by faculty/staff who are entitled to enrollment, on a space available basis, in courses at any university in the Minnesota State University System without payment of tuition or fees, except laboratory or special course fees. The faculty/staff member’s spouse or dependents may share this right within the limit established above, with waiver of tuition only.

This regulation establishes the emeritus/emerita/retired with distinction eligibility requirements for faculty [members of the Inter Faculty Organization (IFO) and the Minnesota State Association of Administrative & Service Faculty (ASF)] and administrators at Winona State University (WSU) and to describe the procedures to be followed in making recommendations for the awards of emeritus or retired with distinction status.
