This site also presents current drafts of new/revised policies and procedures, allowing WSU stakeholders an opportunity to review them and provide feedback to the administration before the President makes a final decision to approve or reject them.
In addition to official Winona State University (WSU) Policies, Procedures, and Regulations, many administrative divisions of the University also develop and administer policies that guide their actions and decisions. These divisional policies also serve as institutional expectations for the University and its students. This page provides links to some of these policies.

The WSU All-University Policy Committee (UPC) vets all proposed policy and procedure drafts it has received from responsible officers of the administration. The UPC reviews the drafts to ensure they are in the proper format and suggests stakeholder feedback deadlines. The WSU Cabinet reviews all recommendations from the WSU All-University Policy Committee (UPC) to vet proposed policy and procedure drafts submitted by responsible officers of the administration. If Cabinet accepts the UPC recommendation, it is then distributed for stakeholder review. After reviewing feedback reports for a policy and procedure draft that has undergone stakeholder review, the WSU All-University Policy Committee (UPC) provides this feedback to the Responsible Officer (the author for the draft). Current drafts at this step are listed on the “Author Feedback Review” webpage. The Responsible Office then submits a final version for review by the UPC. After reviewing the final version for a policy and procedure draft that has undergone stakeholder review, the WSU All-University Policy Committee (UPC) reviews the final drafts submitted by the Responsible Officer (the author for the draft).
